Dental implants

A dental implant is an artificial device designed to replace the root of a missing tooth and support a dental prosthesis, such as a crown, bridge, or denture. Dental implants are made of biocompatible materials such as titanium and are surgically placed into the jaw or jaw bone, where they fuse with the bone in a process called osseointegration. Dental implants consist of three main parts: the implant, which is inserted into the bone; the post or abutment, which connects to the implant and protrudes from the gums; and the dental prosthesis, which is placed on the post or abutment and resembles a natural tooth.

All on 4

It is a dental implant procedure used to replace an entire dental arch (either upper or lower) in people who have lost several or all of their teeth. This technique uses four dental implants to support a fixed prosthesis (known as a denture or bridge) that is placed over the implants. The All-on-4 technique is so called because it uses four dental implants strategically placed in the maxillary or mandibular bone to support the complete denture. The two front implants are placed in a vertical position, while the two rear implants are placed at a 45-degree angle to increase stability and load distribution. This approach allows the prosthesis to be held safely and stably in the patient's mouth, there are also all on 5 and all on 6 techniques depending on the patient's needs.
